  1. Government of Nepal has received a loan/credit/grant from International Fund for Agriculture Development towards the cost of Kisankalagi Unnat Biu-Bijan Karyakram-KUBK intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for IFAD Loan No: 1-881-NP & Grant No: I-DSF-8I06-NP. Bid is open to all Nepalese eligible Bidders.
  2. Kishankalagi Unnat Biu-Bijan Karyakarm (KUBK), Programme Management Office (PMO) invites sealed bids under the following Terms and Conditions from the interested and eligible bidders.
  3. The eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at office of KUBK-ISFP, Tilotama-3, Rupandehi during office hour or may visit E-Procurement section of PPMO website http://www.bolpatra.gov.np.
  4. The complete set of bidding documents may be downloaded from the PPMO website http://www.bolpatra.gov.np or the interested bidder may purchase bidding document upon submission of written application along with company/firm registration certificate. manufacturers/Authorized dealer’s authorization letter for the respective goods and services. Tax registration Certificate (PAN/VA T) & Tax clearance of FY 072/73 and a cash payment (non- refundable) as mentioned below from office of KUBK-ISFP, PMO, Tilotama-3, Rupandehi during office hour.

  1. The bidder may purchase the 11ARD COPY of the bidding documents or may choose to download the necessary part of bidding documents to prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the instruction to Bidders. In case of the bidder who chooses to download and submit bid electronically through e-bidding, the bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document (as specified in the table below) in KUBK-ISFP Rajaswa (Revenue) account and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.

  1. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after the bid closing deadline. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount as mentioned in the above table either in the form of Bank Voucher in the name of Kisankalagi Unnat Biu-Bijan Karvakram, Tilotama-3, Rupandehi, Dharauti Khata No. 04-1460-1014-253047 (Krishi Bikash Bank, Butwal) or irrevocable and unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by “A” class commercial bank with a minimum amount as indicated in above table. The bid security shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
  2. Bidders are strictly instructed to submit their bid through only one medium i.e. either through e-bidding or Hardcopy. Sealed or electronic bid must be delivered by hand/courier or through PPMO website http://www.bolpatra.gov.np on or before 25th  Apr, 2018 on or before 12:00 (noon) at office of KUBK-ISFP, Tilotama-3, Rupandehi. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
  3. Bids will be opened at 12:30 Pm on 25th  2018, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend at office of KUBK-ISFP. Tilotama-3. Rupandehi. Bidders who submit their bid through e- hidding must submit the original copy (Hard Copy) within 7 days from the hid opening date in the address given below. If the bidder representative is unable to present in the date, the opening of the bid will not be hampered.
  4. If the last date of the Bid purchasing, submission and opening falls on a public holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the bid validity and bid security validity shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
  5. The KUBK-ISFP reserves the right to amend, accept or reject wholly or partly or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
