Contract Identification No: 12.073 074 Date of publication: 31.02.2074 The Mid-Western University (MWU) lias allocated funds towards the cost of Construction of Guest House Block of Mid-Western University and intends to apply part of die fluids to cover eligible payments wider the Contract for Construction of Guest House Block of Mid-Western University Contract No. 12/073/74. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Contractors’

The MWU invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Guest House Block, at Kuinepaani, Birendranagar, Surkhet with RCC structure with seismic resistant design, having built up floor areas equaling to 499.78sq.m. wider National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Animal Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years:NRs 3,IS,00,000.00 Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: 2 (two) RCC building projects with minimum project value of NRs. 2.15.00.000.00(Nepalese Rupees Two Crore Fifteen Lakhs Only)

1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Mid Western university, Birendranagar-10, Surkhet, 083-524681, facsimile 083-525444, email: – registrars@ mvu.edu.np
2. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of Mid Western University, Birendranagar-10, Surkhet by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refillable fee of NPR (>000.00 till the 30 day from the date of-first publication of this notice.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchaser the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site n’wiv.ebid.mmi.edu.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) accost as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. 6. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office of Mid-Western University, Birendranagar-10, Surklie/by

hand/courier or through MWU’s website www.ebid.mwu.ediuip.on or before 12:00 noon on the 31” day From the date of publication of this notice. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend The Technical and Financial Bid will be opened at 2:00 PM of 31’’ day from the date of publication of this notice at the office of Mid- Western university, Birendranagar- 10, Surkhet. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf nonfat in case of e-intimidating to a minimum ofNRs 6,65,000.00 (Nepalese Rupees Six Lakh Sixty Five Thousand Only), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. ISO days)

8. If the last date of surprising and /or submission falls oil a government holiday. then die next Working day shall be considered as die last date, hi such case die validity period of die bid security shall remain die same as specified for die original last date of bid submission
9. In case of any other relevant conditions applicable to this biding procedure, the conditions-applied will be as per the Public Procurement Act 2063. Public Procurement Regulations, another relevant laws of the government of Nepal.
10. The employer reserves the right to accept or reject the bid wholly or partly any or all application or bids without assigning any reason, what so ever.
