Invitation for Sealed Bids/E-bids for the Construction of Academic Building Contract Identification No: NATHM / Construction 01/073/074

1. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. NATHM invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Academic Building under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Average Annual Turnover (Nrs.): 6,00,00,000.00 (Six Crores Only) Similar Nature Experience (Last 5 years): Minimum 2 Building Contract of each 4 crores and 50 Lakhs Value with raft/mat.

1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of NATHM, Rabi Bhawan, Kalimati, Kathmandu or may visit PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np .www.nathm.edu.np.
2. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of NATHM during office hours on all working days within 30 Day from the Date of first publication by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate of Fiscal Year 2072/73 and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Rs 5,000.00 (five Thousand^ deposited in current Account No. 0210300166998014 of NATHM, Agriculture Development Bank, Kalimati Branch, Kathmandu.
3. Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may choose to download the necessary part of bidding documents, prepare their bid and submit their electronic bids from PPMO’s Web Site bolpatra.gov.np as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. In case the Bidder chooses to download and submit bid electronically, the Bidder shall be required to deposit the non- refundable fee in the bank account as specified above and electronic scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall also be submitted along with the electronic bid files.
4. Bidders who submitted their bid electronically should submit the hard copy of Bidding Document within 7 days after the 31 st day from first notice published date. Bidder who does not submit the hard copy within 7 days, will be non responsive & disqualify for future evaluation process.
5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held on 2074/02/17 at 2:00 pm at NATHM .
6. The bidders must enclose the technical proposal with original bid security & Financial Bid in different two envelopes with sealed & both Bids document must be enclosed in the bigger envelope with sealed. The bidders must write the concern subject in outside of all the envelopes.
7. The complete Sealed Bids must be submitted to the office of NATHM within 12 :00 Hrs. of 31 day from the date of first publication. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. Alternatively, bidders may submit their bid electronically through website bolpatra.gov.np , as specified in the Instructions to bidders. Late bids will be rejected.
8. Sealed Bids shall be opened in the presence of bidders’ Representative who chooses to attend at 14:00 Hours on 31 day from the date of first publication. If the bidder’s representative does not choose to attend for opening, NATHM, Rabi Bhawan, may open the Tender.
9. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security with a minimum amount of Rs. 15,00,000 ( Fifteen Lacs only) form ‘A’Class Commercial Bank, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid or bidders may also deposit bid security amount in current Account No. 0210300166998014 of NATHM, Agriculture Development Bank, Kalimati Branch, Kathmandu and original Bank Voucher must be submitted with bids document.
10. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday, it shall be extended to the next working day at the same time.
11. NATHM reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
