The Ministry of Industry. Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated funds towards the cost of Butwal Grid Division, NEA and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for above Tender. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of above Tender under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage. Two Envelope Bidding procedures for above Tenders.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Construction of substation control Building & Supply, delivery and installation of at least 3000 meter of 11 kV or higher Voltage level XLPE cable & Installation. Testing & commissioning of at least 7 nos of 12 kV VCB Switch gear Panel

• Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at die office of as given below, during office

hour or through website eproc.nea.org.np.

• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written

application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as mentioned in the table below till 25th August. 2017 or through website eproc.nea.org.np .

Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office Butwal Grid Division. Jogikuti. Butwal by hand or through website eproc.nea.org.np on or before 12:00 PM on 27August, 2017 Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

The Technical bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 27 August. 2:00pm. at the office of Butw al Grid Division. Jogikuti. Butwal. Bids must be valid for a period as mentioned in the table below and must be accompanied by a bid security._amounting to a minimum of amount as mentioned in the table below which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.

If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government Holiday. then tile next working day shall be considered as tile last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain die same as specified for the original last date of bid submission. The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of its bid. and NEA will in no case be responsible or liable for these costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the bidding process.

• NEA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidders) or any obligation to inform the affected bidders) of the grounds for NEA’s action.
• The Bidders are strongly advised to visit the site to acquaint themselves with conditions and associated details before the submission of Bids.
