Invitation For Bids

1. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Distribution and Consumer Services Directorate, Hetauda Regional Office invites wax sealed tenders from reputable, registered contractor for:

Tender No.- HRO – 2073/074 -04 (RE): Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 12KV, VCB.

1. The mode of procurement is through National Competitive Bidding Procedure.
2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information pertaining to bid & e-bidding from NEA website www.nea.org.np for their reference.
3. A complete set of Bid Documents may be purchased during office hours on all working days by any interested Bidder from July 14, 2017 on wards upon submission of a written application to the address given below accompanied by a bank voucher of the amount (non refundable) specified below in clause 6 towards the cost of the Bid Documents deposited in NEA Current Account Number 010400060150 Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited. Hetauda. Nepal or by an account payee bank draft of the same amount issued in favor of NEA. The Bid documents shall be available for sale up to one day before the last date of Bid submission as specified in Clause 6 here under.
4. Local Bidders must produce an attested copy of the certificates of VAT registration and PAN registration at the time of purchase of the Bid Documents.
5. All Bids accompanied by a bid bond in amount & validity period as specified below must be delivered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders at or before 12:00 hours local time on or before August 15, 2017. The Bids shall be opened at 14:00 hours local time on the last date of the Bid submission, in the presence (or without presence) of the authorized representatives of the Bidders who choose to be present. If the specified dates of Bid submission and opening fall on a public holiday. Bid submission and opening shall be done on the next working day.

1. NEA shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidden; in connection with the preparation or submission of Bids.
2. NEA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, partly or wholly, or cancel the Bids altogether, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
