Invitation for Bids for the: Construction of Compound Wall on NRB’s Land at Kohalpur

Nepal Rastra Bank, General Services Department, Baluwatar, Kathmandu invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Construction of Compound Wall on NRB’s Land at Kohalpur under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 9,05,00,000.00.

Minimum experience under construction contracts: 5(Five) years prior to the applications submission deadline

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature-1 (one) Contracts within the last 10 years, each with a value of at least NRs 4,83,00,000.00

Under the Single Stage. Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate bids, one (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.

Bidder shall download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit nonrefundable cost of bidding document Rs.5000 in the account as specified below. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Nepal Rastra Bank General Service Department, Baluwatar. Kathmandu at 2075/04/17.

Electronic bids must be submitted through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov. np/egp on or before 12:00 Noon or 2075/04/29.

The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ authorized representative who choose to attend at 12:30 P.M. on 2075/04/29 at the Nepal Rastra Bank General Service Department. Baluwatar, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid security in .pdf format, amounting to a minimum to Rs.2,000 000.00( In Words, Two millions only), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity penod of the bid (i.e. 2075/08/26)

If the last date of submission falls on a public holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.

Nepal Rastra Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all B ds at any time prior to contract award, without thereby cumming any liability to Bidders._
