Invitation for Bids for the Maintenance of Kalikuwa- Chambot-Hodil-Chyasku Earthen Road Ramcchhap

1. The Ramechhap Municipality, Ramechhap-Bazar, Ramechhap has received grant from Road Board Nepal towards the cost of Maintenance of Kalikuwa- Chambot-Hodil-Chyasku Earthen Road and intends to apply the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Ramechhap municipality/NCB/01/074-075 Maintenance of Kalikuwa- Chambot-Hodil-Chyasku Earthen Road. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders.
2. Ramechhap Municipality. Ramechhap-Bazar, Ramechhap invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Maintenance of Kalikuwa- Chambot-Hodil-Chyasku Earthen Road under National Competitive Bidding procedures .
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Office of the Municipal Executive .Ramechhap by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written request application, along with the copy of company/ firm registration certificate ,value added tax registration certificate, tax clearance certificate of fiscal year 073/074,self declaration eligibility for bidding and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as mentioned in table below on before the office hour of 30 days of first publication . If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services . However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.
4. Bidder should deposit the cost(as specified below table) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and Bank deposit voucher shall be submission of the bids. Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank:

5. Scaled bids must be submitted to the Office of Municipal Executive .Ramechhap Municipality. Ramechhap by hand/courier before 12:00 hour noon of 31rd  day of first date of publication of this notice. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids shall be opened at office of the Municipal Executive. Ramechhap in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on the last date of submission.Non attendance of any or all of the bidders representatives shall not hinder the opening of the bids.. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 day’s after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of Rs.107000 .00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid. The Bids Security guarantee issued only by the commercial bank approved by Nepal Rastra Bank Shall be accepted by the employer.
7. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
8. Hie Office of the Municipal Executive Ramechhap reserves right to accept or reject any or all bids or annul the bidding process and reject all bids without assigning any reason.what so ever.
9. Matters not covered by this notice shall be in accordance with Public Procurement Act.2063 and Public Procurement Regulations.2064 and other prevailing regulation.
10. Hie Bidder shall quote the item rates excluding VAT in the Bill of Quantity.In case the rates quoted figure and word differ,then the rates quoted in words shall govern.
