Invitation for Bids/Sealed quotation for the Construction of Bhuteni and Bhusudi Khola Box Bridge,

Procurement and supply of Electric pole and Construction of Parking Shed

1 Haldibari Rural Municipality has allocated funds towards the cost of Construction of Box Bridges, Procurement and supply of Electric pole and Construction of Parking Shed and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for below given Contract details. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

1. Haldibari Rural Municipality invites sealed bids/Sealed quotation or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the given below construction activities under National Competitive Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key eligibility criteria should participate in this bidding:-
2. Registration certificate of a firm, organization or company
3. Business registration license
4. Value Added Tax registration certificate
5. Tax clearance certificate
6. A written declaration made by the bidder
7. Other documents considered necessary by the Public Entity
8. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Haldibari Rural Municipality, Haldibari, Jhapa, No 9823756115 or may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np.
9. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office Haldibari Rural Municipality,Haldibari,Jhapa and the office Haldibari Rural Municipality,Haldibari Jhapa by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 3000.00for NCB and NRs 1000for Sealed quotation till 30^lh Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/16) for NCB and till I6^,h Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/02) for sealed quotation till Office hours.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents fore-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost(as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. 4. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Haldibari Rural Municipality,Jhapa at 21^st Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/07) at 13:00
5. Sealed or electronic bids (only for NCB) must be submitted to the office Haldibari Rural Municipality,Jhapa by hand/courier or through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np. on or before 12:00 Hrs on 31^stJan 2018 ( 2074/10/17) for NCB and 16^Ih Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/03) for sealed quotation. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 Hrs on 31^st Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/17) for NCB and 14:00 Hrs on 16^th Jan 2018 ( 2074/10/03) for sealed quotation at the office of Haldibari Rural Municipality,Jhapa. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days for NCB and 45 days for Scaled quotation after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in .pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of 3,38,000.00for Construction of Bhusudi Khola box bridge, 5,00,000.00 ( Five Lakhs Only) for the construction of Bhuteni khola box bridge 1,10,000.00 for procurement and supply of Electric pole, 22,000.00 for construction of Parking shed which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
7. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
