INVITATION FOR SEALED QUOTATIONS

• The Department of Roads, Division Road Office, Palpa on behalf of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Government of Nepal now invites sealed quotation or electronic quotation and Sealed Bids in electronic form from eligible bidders for the construction of following works.

2018. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased from Division Road Office, Palpa or District Treasury Comptroller Office, Tansen, Palpa by eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application attaching duly attested copies of Bidder’s registration, VAT registration and tax clearance certificate upto FY 2073/74 and payment of a non-refundable fee as mentioned above within office hours on or before April 13, 2018. For the purpose of bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section of PPMO’s website bolpatra.gov.np, the bidders may purchase the hard copy of bidding documents, or may choose to download the necessary part of bidding documents, prepare their bid and submit their electronic bids as specified in the instructions to the bidders. In case the bidder chooses to download and submit their bid electronically, the bidder shall he required to deposit the non-refundable fee as specified above in revenue account specified below and electronic scanned copy (*.pdf format) of the bank deposit voucher shall also be submitted along with the electronic bid files.

1. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the Office of Division Road Office, Palpa on or before April 15, 2018 at 12:00 hours. Alternatively, Domestic Bidders may submit their bid electronically through E-procurement section in PPMO’s website bolpatra.gov.np before the above stated deadline and as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Late bids will be rejected and not opened.
2. Sealed Bids will be opened physically and electronically in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend after 13:00 hours, April 15, 2018 at the office of Division Road Office, Palpa.
3. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security for the amount as specified in the table above. Bidders are required to submit a separate bid security for each contract for which they submit bids. Bids shall be valid for the period as mentioned in the table above after the deadline for Bid submission and Bid security shall be valid up to the period as mentioned in the table above.
4. If bidder wishes to submit Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Deposit account no. 3030203000000, at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Tansen, Palpa on the account of District Treasury Controller Office, Palpa on behalf of Division Road Office, Palpa and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the sealed bid.
5. Any conditions so far not covered shall be as per Public Procurement Act 2063(Latest Revision) and Procurement Regulation 2064 (Latest Revision).
6. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Division Road Office, Palpa or may visit PPMO’s website bolpatra.gov.np/ppmo e-procurement section.
