2. The Election Commission, Nepal invites sealed bids from registered contractors for the construction of Construction of truss shade building.
3. The Estimated amount for the works is 47,24,838.79 (With VAT)
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased from the address below by interested bidders on the submission of a written application along with attested copies of company / firm registration certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate of F.Y. 2072/73 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for each package within the office hours up 2074 Ashwin 17. For submission of hard copy, the bidding documents purchase from ECN only acceptable.
5. Bidding documents may be purchased from the above office and the office of Election Commission, Nepal by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of 3000.00.
6. Bids must be submitted to the above office of Election Commission on or before 12:00, 2074 Ashwin 18. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
7. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00, 2074 Ashwin 18 at the office of Election Commission, Nepal.
8. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of 1,25,000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period.
9. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Dharauti Account no 1100203000000, Office Code no 27-212-02 in the name of District Treasury Controller Office Lainchaur, Kathmandu located at Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. Thamel Branch and should submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Bid.
10. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
11. Bidders are advised to visit site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bid.
12. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
13. In the case of discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or any other document, the Election Commission, Nepal reserves the right to amend or correct or cancel the bid at any time. Election Commission Nepal will not responsive for any additional cost of bidders due to the amendment or correction or cancelation of bid.
