INVITATION TO TENDER

(First date of publication: 4th August 2017)

1. United Modi Hydropower Ltd. (UMH) invites sealed tenders from interested eligible tenderer s for the following works:

Detail qualification criteria tor the tenderers are elaborately described in the Tender Documents.

2. Interested tenderer s may obtain further information from UMH Office and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during business hours.
3. A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be purchased by interested tenderer s from 10th August 2017 onwards, on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 10,000 (In words, Nepalese Rupees Ten Thousand only) deposited in the account No. 0010000415CC at Citizens Bank International Ltd., Narayanhiti Branch or in the form of draft drawn in favor of United Modi Hydropower Ltd. The document will be handed over to the representative of the tenderer upon production of the evidence of payment of the fee.
4. All tender shall be accompanied by a valid tender security of amount as specified in the Tender Documents and in the specified format.
5. Tenders must be valid for a period of 120 days from the last date of tender submission. Tender security shall remain valid up to 150 days from the last date of tender submission.
6. Tenderer are strongly advised to visit the site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting the tender. Pre-bid meeting will take place at the venue, date and time stipulated in the Tender Documents. All interested tenderer s are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.
7. Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:00 hours local time on 8th September 2017.
8. Late tenders will be rejected. Technical proposals document (Envelope-1) only will be opened in the presence of the Tenderer s’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 14:00 hours local time on 8th September 2017.
9. The Financial bid document (Envelope-2) of only technically qualified tenders (will be informed later) will be opened in the presence of the Tenderer s’ representatives.
10. If the given date happens to be an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the date for tender submission and opening.
11. UMH reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the tender(s) or annul the tendering process and reject all the tenders without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
