• Kanti Children’s Hospital (KCH) has allocated annual budget and intends to spend the budget to cover eligible payments under the contract for Reconstruction of Boundary Wall for 500 meter Length. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from Nepal.
• The Estimated amount for the works is NPR.9,889,418.44 ( In words Nine million eight hundred eighty nine thousand four hundred eighteen and paisa forty four only)
• KCH invites sealed bids from the eligible and qualified bidders under National Competitive Bidding for Reconstruction of Boundary Wall for 500 meter Length. The time for completion is 45 days from date as per commencement letter and Defects Liability Period shall be one (I) year from date stated in taking over certificate. Joint ventures of firms arc not acceptable.
• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect bidding documents at office of the Director, Kanti Children’s Hospital Maharajgunj. Kathamndu, Tel no: +977-1-4413398
• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders from the aforementioned office on submission of written applications along with certified valid Business Registration certificates, VAT and PAN Registration certificates and TAX clearance certificate/Tax Returns submission clearance for F.Y. 2072/073 and upon payment of non-refundable fee NRs.3,000.00.
• Pre-bid meeting shall be held at 2:00 pm on Baishak 17, 2074 (April 30, 2017) at KCH. Attendance is strongly advised for all prospective Bidders or their authorized representatives who have purchased the Bidding Documents but is not mandatory.
• A bidder will be selected under competitive method using single stage single envelope post qualification procedure.
• Completed sealed Bids must be delivered to office of the Director: Kanti Children’s Hospital (KCH) on or before 12:00 noon Baishak 28, 2074 (May 11. 2017). Alternatively, bidders may submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section in PPMO website: http://www.bolpatra.gov.npbcforc the above deadline and as specified in the instruction to the bidders. Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted.
• The sealed Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on the same date Baishak 28, 2074 (May 11, 2017).
• The Bids shall be valid for period of 90 days from last day of Bid submission. It shall be accompanied with a Bid security Two hundred fifty thousand or equivalent amount of unconditional bid bond valid for 120 days and issued from ‘A’ Class Commercial Bank in the favor of Kanti Children’s Hospital.
• Bidders are advised to inspect the site and to assess requirements of works, constraints on working time, space- limitations and pollution control requirements.
• If the date of document purchase deadline or deadline of submission happens to be a public holiday the next ofTicc day will be the respcctivc date of document purchase deadline or deadline for submission.
• In the case of discrepancies or error in the bid documents, bid notice, or any other document, KCH reserves the right to amend and correct at any time.
• KCH reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all Bids without assigning any reasons and incurring any liabilities whatsoever.
