Name of Contract: Supply and delivery of 6,500 Metric Tons of 70 GSM White Printing Paper (SWP).

1. The Janak Education Material Center Ltd. (JEMC) now invites sealed bid from interested eligible bidders for Supply and delivery of 6,500 Metric Tons of 70 GSM While Printing Paper (SWP). National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with the GON/PPMO’s bidding procedure.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from JEMC, Administration Department. Sanothimi. Bhaktapur, Nepal and inspect the Bidding documents at normal office hours.
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be downloaded from the PPMO website or be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to Finance Department of Janak Education Material Center Limited. Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Nrs. 20.000/- by deposit to the JEMC Current A/C No. 0002-11-0049552 with Nepal Bank Limited. Head Office. Kathmandu or Current A/C No. 173000110101 with Rastriya Banijya Bank. Sano Thimi Branch. Bhaktapur, Nepal.
4. Ihe Bid documents must be purchased within 2074-04-28 (August 12, 2017) during the normal office time.
5. All bids should be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting to not less than 1,60,00.000/.
6. The Bids must be addressed and submitted to Managing Director, Janak Education Material Center Limited, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal and must be received at JEMC premise on or before 12:00 PM on the last date of bid submission i.e. 2073-04-29 (August 13, 2017). If the last date of bid submission falls on a public holiday, the following day shall be regarded as the last date for the same. All the bids received by the due date of bid submission shall be opened at the same day (last day of bid submission) at 14:00 PM at the JEMC premise in the presence of all bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend in person.
7. For the purpose who choose to submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section of PPMO website http://bolpatra.gov.np. the bidders may either purchase the hard copy of bidding documents or may choose to download the necessary’ part of bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the instructions to cost of bidding document as specified above in the above mentioned Account No. of JEMC at Nepal Bank Ltd. Head Office, Kathmandu or Rastriya Banijya Bank, Sanothimi Branch and electronic scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher/File transfer receipt shall also be submitted along with the electronic bid files.
8. Bidder’s qualifications requirements arc mentioned in Bid Documents. Failing to comply with such requirements shall disqualify the bidders to be awarded a contract. The JEMC reserves every right to reject any or all bids or accept wholly or partially without assigning any reason thereof.
