Nepal Food Corporation, Bhadrakali plaza, Kathmandu invites sealed bids from duly eligible and qualified registered bidders for the construction of below mentioned works under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage, Two envelope Bidding procedures. Some of the qualification criteria are mentioned below, though the details are in the biding document.

2. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the attested copy of company/firm registration certificate and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as stated above for each set on or before 2074/04/27 at Office Hours at Nepal Food Corporation Head Office, Bhadrakaliplaza Kathmandu or Nepal Food Corporation Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet.

Any bidders who choose to bid through electronic media (c-bidding) may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents fore-submission from www.bolpatra.gov.np Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost(as specified above) of bidding document in the Office’s Bank account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Sealed bids (With two sealed envelope,one containing the technical bid labelled as Technical Bid and the other containing price bid only labelled as Price bid, both in turn enclosed in a single sealed envelope according as provision of ITB 21) must be submitted to the Nepal Food Corporation Central office, Bhadrakali plaza, Kathmandu by hand/courier indicating contract number, name of the contract, name of bidder’s firms and it’s address at or before 12:00 hrs on 2074/04/29 B.S. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security Amount not less than as stated above. Late bids will be rejected.

If the bidder, except in e-bidding, wish to modify or withdraw their bids the bidder should submit scaled application 24 hours prior to the last date and time of the bid submission. The bid bond will be forfeited if the bidder wish to modify or withdraw the bid after the aforementioned period.

Technical Bids will be opened physically and electronically immediately in the presence of Bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs on the last day of bid submission (2074/04/29 B.S.) at Nepal Food Corporation, Bhadrakali plaza , Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of (90 days for) after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security, which shall be valid for at least 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid after the date of bid opening.

1. The Pre bid meeting shall be held at Nepal Food Corporation office, Birendranagar, Surkhet on 2074/04/15 B.S at 13:00 Hr.
2. In case, the last date of purchase, submission, and pre bid meeting or opening of Bid happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date but the time will be the same as stipulated. .Any corrections needed shall be published on notice board of Nepal Food Corporation. Bhadrakali plaza Kathmandu. Information or data submitted by the bidder which is either incomplete or unclear or not substantiated by supporting documents shall not be considered for evaluation.

Upon notification from the employer, the bidders who choose to submit a bid electronically shall deliver his/her all necessary original documents comprising bids and supporting documents within 7 days from the opening of bid. Non submission of hard copy of original documents comprising bids and supporting documents within date and time set in the employer’s request shall be treated as a non- responsive bid and such bid will be rejected.

3. Nepal Food Corporation reserves rights to amend and correct at any time in case of discrepancies or error in Bidding document. Tender notice or any other documents.
4. After the completion of evaluation of Technical bid, all the technically substantially responsive bidders will be invited to attend the opening of Price bids. The time, date and place of opening of Price bid shall be notified in writing and/or publishing notice.
5. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award.
6. Other related rules and regulations are as per current Public Procurement Act and Regulations with latest amendment.
