RE-INVITATION FOR SEALED QUOTATIONS

No. : DPHO/BZH/G/SQ-03/2073-074 Re-Procurement of Lab Reagents for Sickle Cell Anaemia (SCA) Center

1. The MoH, Department of Health Services (DoHS), District Public Health Office (DPHO) invites sealed quotations from registered suppliers for the Lab Reagents for Sickle Cell Anaemia (SCA) Center Bheri Zonal hospitals of Nepalgunj, Banke.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the sealed quotation documents at the office of District Public Health Office, Nepalgunj, Banke, Nepal, Tel: 081-520158, 527707 during office hours or. at their own convenience, may visit the DPHO website (dphobanke.gov.np) and PPMO website (www.bolpatra.gov. np). Interested bidders must first register on the PPMO website to access the document and choose the electronic bidding procedure.
3. A complete set of Sealed Quotation Documents may be downloaded from the PPMO website or DPHO website or be purchased by interested bidders from the above office during office hours on all working days 2074/02/28 (June-11-2017) on wards on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.l,000.00. The method of payment will be in the form of cash deposit certificate in Revenue Title no 14227, Office code no. 62-370-01, Account No.1-1-001 of Nepal Rastra Bank, Nepalgunj Branch. The bidding documents shall be available for sale up to office hours of 2074/03/11 (June-25-2017).
4. For the purpose who choose to submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section of PPMO website: http://www.bolpatra.gov.np, the bidders may either purchase the hard copy of bidding documents or may choose to download the necessary part of bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. In case of bidder who choose to download and submit bid electronically, the bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document as specified above in the above mentioned Account No. of DPHO at Nepal Rastra Bank, Nepalgunj Branch and electronic scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher/tele transfer receipt shall also be submitted along with the electronic bid files.
5. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the above office on or before 12:00 hours on 2074/03/12 (June-26-2017). Alternatively, bidders may submit their bid electronically through e-procurement section of PPMO website: http:// bolpatra.gov.np, before the above deadline and as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
6. Sealed Quotation must be valid for a period of 45 days after opening of sealed quotations and must be accompanied by Cash Security or Bank Guarantee, amounting to a minimum of NPR 1,11,000.00. which shall be valid for 75 days after opening of the Sealed Quotations, (i.e, valid up to 2074/05/25 (Sep-10-2017). The Bid Security shall be in the name of the Bidder and issued by any ‘A* Class Commercial Bank of Nepal.
7. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Dharauti Khata of Ko. Le. Ni. Ka. 2101200-001-002-524 Kha 3 at Nepal Rastra Bank. Nepalgunj, Banke and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Bid.
8. Sealed Quotation shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours on 2074/03/12 (June-26-2017) at the office of the District Public Health Office, Nepalgunj. Banke.
9. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day .The bid validity and validity of bid security will be remained unchanged unless amended by another notice.
10. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Sealed Quotations without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
