Re-Tender Notice

The Nepal Red Cross Society invites sealed quotations from manufacturers/reputed firms/suppliers for the supply of following materials.

Tender document containing request for quotation, instruction to bidders, detailed specifications of blanket and the terms & conditions etc. can be purchased from Nepal Red Cross Society, National Hqs, Red Cross Marga, Kalimati, Kathmandu during office hours from 20 July, 2017 to 6 August, 2017 on written request with relevant documents (copy of Firm registration, VAT, Tax clearance) and against payment of non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 3,000/-.

Tenders in sealed cover and accompanied by pre – supply samples and the earnest money will be received at the above address during working days between 10.00 hrs. to 13.00 up to 7 August, 2017. The tender received will be opened at 14:00 p. m. on 7 August, 2017 at NRCS, Nhqs, Kalimati, Kahmandu. The bidders may seethe stock samples of the items available at the NRCS, Nhqs, Kalimati, Kahmandu during office hours.

The bidder(s) must deposit 2.5 % (two and a half percent) including VAT 13% of the total bid amount as Earnest Money in the form of Bank Voucher against cash deposited in account No. 0042110002514 of Nepal Red Cross Society at Nepal Bank Ltd., Kalimati Branch, Kathmandu or Bank Demand Draft payable in favor of the said account or bank guarantee with validity period of 4 months (120 days) at the submission of bids. The successful bidder(s) will have to deposit 10% (ten percent) of the order value including VAT as Performance Security at the time of signing the purchase agreement.

The successful bidder/s should be in position to deliver 50% of committed items within 30 days from the date of signing of the agreement and remain quantity within 60 days.

The Nepal Red Cross Society reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity or drop any item and also to accept or reject part or whole tender or any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever and not bound to accept the lowest bids.
