The Vehicle can be inspected from 18 to 25 May, 2017 within office hours (09:00 – 17:00) and except Saturday and Sunday at the premises of the UNESCO office in Lalitpur, Sanepa- 2 (Access Map: http://www.unesco.org/new/en/kathmandu/about-this-office/contact-us/).

Interested parties should submit their sealed bid along with an earnest money by 25 May 2017 at 17:00 at the latest. The bids received by deadline will be opened by the Local Property Survey Board on 30 May, 2017.

Condition of Sale:

1. Interested bidder(s) shall fill out the Bid Form and submit it in a sealed envelope with cash amount of NPR 20,000 as an earnest money, which will be returned to the non­winning bidders.
2. The earnest money deposited by the winning bidder will not be refunded, but will be deducted when making the final payment.
3. Custom duties will be applicable as per Government’s latest rules and regulations.
4. The vehicle is offered for sale on a” as is, where is” basis without recourse.
5. The vehicle will be released to the winning bidder only upon submission of the duty paid receipt, the ownership transfers and upon payment in cash or cheque of the amount offered and accepted; in case of payment by cheque, the vehicle will be released after clearance by the bank.
6. UNESCO reserves the right to withdraw the vehicle from sale without assigning any reason.
7. The winning bidder will be notified in writing or by telephone by 6 June 2017 at 14:30 hours and also will be published on the Notice Board of the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu.
