Invitation for Bids for the Upgrading of Road Connecting Durgapur-Champapur Road.

  • The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated funds or received a loan/credit/grant from GoN towards the cost of Upgrading of Road Connecting Durgapur-Champapur Road and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Upgrading of Road Connecting Durgapur-Champapur Road, Contract Identification No: KAN-01/073-74. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
  • The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari, State No.- 1 invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of drainage, sub base works, base works, asphalt concreting etc under National Competitive Bidding procedures.

  • A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development , Kanakai Muncipality Ofllce, Jamunbari, State No.- I by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application,along with the copy of company/ firm registration certificate,and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 3000.00 till 26th April 2017 (12th Baisakh 2074), estimated cost without vat and contingency is Rs. 85,73.000.00 Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s WebSite bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.   • Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Kanakai Municipality Ofllce. Jamunbari on 16 April 2017 (03rd Baisakh 2074).The bidder or his authorized representative is encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.
  • Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari, Suite No.- 1 by hand/courier or through PPMO website bolpatra.siov.np/eirp. on or before 12:00 on 26,h April 2017 13″‘ (Baisakh 2074). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
  • The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 on 26,h April 2017 13“‘ (Baisakh 2074) at Kanakai Muncipality Ofllce, Jamunbari, State No.- 1. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days alter bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in .pdf fonnat in

case of e-bid.     amounting to a minimum of NRs 2,50,000.00 for Contract

Identification No: KAN-01/073-74 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.

  • If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
