Supply and Erection Of 3 Phase 11 Kv/400 V 200 KVA Distribution Transformer For Agro Bio-Material Laboratory Building and Four Storey Dean’s Examination Office Building at Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Package 1: Agro Bio-.Valerian Laboratory Building

Package 2: Four Storey Dean’s Examination Office Building

and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

Following documents are pre-requisites for eligibility

1. Constitution or legal status of Bidder:(attach attested copy)
2. Up to date Registration Certificate:(attach attested copy)
3. VAT and PAN Registration Certificate:(attach attested copy)
4. Up to date Tax Returns/Clearance:(attach attested copy up to 2072/2073)
5. Power of Attorney.(attach copy)
6. A written declaration made by the bidder stating that the bidder is not ineligible to participate in the bid; has no conflict of interest in the bid procurement proceedings and has not been punished for the profession or business related offence.
7. Tribhuvan University, General Administration Division invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Erection Of 3 Phase 11 Kv/400 V 200 KVA Distribution Transformer For

Package 1: Agro Bio-.Valerian Laboratory’ Building Package 2: Four Storey Dean’s Examination Office Building

Under National Competitive Bidding procedures.

3. The eligible Bidders arc herewith requested to collect the Bidding Document from the Tribhuvan University, General Administration Division, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal upon payment of non-refundable fee of NRs. 1000.00 (for each package) deposited in the Nepal Bank Limited, Call Account No. 5477 of Tribhuvan University Central Office within 30 Days from the Date of first publication on Normal Office hours.
4. The complete Sealed Bid must be submitted separately for each package to above Office address within 12.00 Hrs. of 31 th day from the Date of first publication. If the last date for purchase or submission of Sealed Bid falls on the public holiday the next consecutive working days shall be applicable for both purchase and submission.
5. Bid must be valid for a period of 90 days after opening of Scaled Bid and must be accompanied by Cash Security or Bank Guarantee, amounting to a minimum of Rs. 64,000.00 (for each package) which shall be valid for 120 days after opening of the Sealed Bid.
6. If bidder wishes to submit the Cash Security, the cash should be deposited in the Nepal Bank Limited, Kirtipur, Call Account No. 5477 of, TU Central Office, Kirtipur and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Scaled Bid.
7. The estimated cost for transformers for each package is 21,38,240.32 (without VAT).
8. The Sealed Bid shall be opened in the bidders’ Representative who chooses to attend at 14.00 Hours on 31^th Days from the Date of first publication. If the bidder’s representative docs not choose to attend for opening, Tribhuvan University may open the Tender.
9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
10. All rules and regulations shall be according to Public Procurement Act, 2063 (Amendment 2073) and Public Procurement rules, 2064 (Amendment 2073).
11. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all contractor’s Tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
