Notice for sealed bid For Construction of answer sheet blocks ( Blocks A and Blocks B) at Balkhu, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations has allocated funds towards the cost of Construction of Answer Sheet Blocks (Blocks A and Blocks B) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Answer Sheet Blocks (Blocks A and Blocks B) under National Competitive Bidding procedures.

The eligible Bidders are herewith requested to collect the Bidding Document from the Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, Kathmandu, Nepal upon payment of non-refundable fee of NRs. 3000.00 deposited in the Global Bank Current Account NO. 0501010000077 of Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu, within 30 Days from the date of first publication on Normal Office hours.

The complete Sealed Bid must be submitted to above Office address within 12.00 Hrs. of 31^fl day from the Date of first publication. If the last date for purchase or submission of Sealed Bid falls on the public holiday the next consecutive working days shall be applicable for both purchase and submission.

Bid must be valid for a period of 90 days after opening of Sealed Bid and must be accompanied by Cash Security or Bank Guarantee, amounting to a minimum of Rs. 2,50,000.00, which shall be valid for 120 days after opening of the Sealed Bid.

If bidder wishes to submit the Cash Security, the cash should be deposited in the Global Bank Current Account No. 0501010000077 of Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Sealed Bid.

The Sealed Bid shall be opened in the bidders’ Representative who chooses to attend at 14.00 Hours on 31th Days from the Date of first publication. If the bidders’ representative does not choose to attend for opening, Tribhuvan University Office of the Controller of Examinations may open the Tender.

The total estimated cost for the construction work is 83,77,330.69 (without VAT).

If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of the bid submission.

All rules and regulations shall be according to Public Procurement Act, 2063 (Amendment 2073) and public procurement rules, 2064 (Amendment 2073).

The employers reserves the right to accept or reject any or all contractor’s tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
