INVITATION FOR BIDS

Industrial District Management Limited has allocated funds towards the cost of lletauda Industrial District Management Oflice and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Package listed below. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

MID invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the works as shown in table below.

1. Eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Hetauda Industrial District Management Office, Tel. :057-412665,412557 Fax: 057-412209.
2. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from Procurement Unit of HID by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application along with the updated certified copy of company/firm registration certificate, VAT/ PAN registration certificate and (Updated) tax clearance certificate, and upon payment as men­tioned on or before 30^th day of date of publication of this notice. Bidder’s representative who wishes to purchase the Bid Documents shall furnish authority letter issued by the authorized person of the firm or JV forms.

3. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at HID Management Office, Hetauda, at 13:00 hour on 21^st day of date of publication of this notice.
4. Scaled Bids must be submitted to The Manager, HID. Hetauda, indicating contract identification number, name of the contract, name of the bidder’s firm and its address on or before 12:00 hours on 31^M day from the date of publication of this notice. Documents received after this deadline will be rejected.
5. Bids will be opened immediately in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hour on the last day of bid submission at HID Management Office, Hetauda. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting to exactly specified in the table above, which shall be valid for 120 days beyond the validity period of the bid. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Current Account No.: 05300100022353000001 in favour of HID Management Oflice at Nepal Bank Ltd, Hetauda Branch and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Bid.
6. Bidder shall quote the item rates in the BOQ exclusive of VAT. All other taxes and levies which may be applicable shall be included in the quoted rates. In case of discrepancies in rates in figures and words, the rates in word shall govern.
7. Notary Public certified documents shall be submitted by the Bidder as per required in Evaluation and Qualifica­tion Criteria stated in Bidding Document.
8. If the last date of purchasing. Pre-Bid meeting, submission and opening falls on a government holiday it shall be extended to the next working day.
9. Bidder is advised to visit sites and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bids.
10. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
11. Any matters other than mentioned above will be in accordance with the prevailing law of Nepal.
