Invitation for Bid for Procurement of Goods (IFB)

- Government of Nepal has received financing from the World Bank (Loan No 5706) towards the cost of Procurement of Supply and Delivery of goods and intends to apply part of the fund to cover eligible payment under the contracts given below.
- National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Singhadurbar, Kathmandu invites scaled bids from any eligible manufacturing companies or firms or authorized suppliers or dealers for:

- Eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at National Reconstruction Authority, Procurement Unit, Singhadurbar Tel: 4211201, 4211202; Fax: 4211201 or may visit NRA website (http://www.nra.gov.np).Tender notice section.
- A complete set of bidding documents (Hard Copy) in English may be purchased on or before 17:00 Hours of 30th June, 2017 from National Reconstruction Authority, Singhadurbar, Kathmandu, Financial Administration section and Office of the Prime minister and Council of Ministers by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application accompanied by a letter of Authority from the Principal / Manufacturer to the address above, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, Tax clearance certificate of F/Y 2072.73 and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of above mentioned amount.

- Scaled bids must be delivered to National Reconstruction Authority, Procurement Unit, Singhadurbar
on or before 12:00 Hours of 2nd July, 2017. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of bid submission. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amount mentioned above, valid 120 days after the deadline of of bid submission.
- Bids received after the deadline of the submission will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 14:00 Hours on 2nd July, 2017.
- If the last day for purchasing, submission and opening of bids falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
- Bank Guarantee issued by “A” class commercial bank only acceptably.
- Bids should comply in all respects with the Instructions to Bidder included in the Bid Document. Non compliance with this instructions will result in disqualification.
- Pre-bid meeting shall be held on 13:00 Hours of 22nd June, 2017 at NRA procurement section.
- The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
