Contract Name: Construction of Toilets in Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi 400k V Transmission Line Area at Dhanusha. Mahottari. Siraha and Saptari Districts.

1. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has allocated hinds towards the cost of construction of Toilets in Hetauda-Dhalkebar- Duliabi 400kV transmission line area at Dhanusha. Mahottari. Siraha and Saptari and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for contract identification No: ESSD-ST-01-2074/075 : construction of Toilets in Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi 400kV transmission line area. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese contractor registered with government of Nepal. The details are mentioned in the tender document.
2. The Environment and Social Studies Department of Nepal Electricity Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Toilets in Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi 400kV transmission line area. The bidding document and notice is also available at NEA’s web site http://www.eproc.nea.org.np.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office specified below.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased on or before 17.00 hrs. 07 February 2018 (2074/10/24) from the office specified below by eligible bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/ fin registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable cash deposit or a bank draft paid to or made in favor of ESSD of NRs 3000.00 (Nepalese Rupees Three thousand only) to account number 37-01-524-250978-01-7 at the Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited. Kamal Binayak Branch. Nepal. If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of 3,000.00. However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent. The bidding document can be also purchased from the Office of NEA. Engineering Service Directorate. Durbar Marg. Kathmandu.
5. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the below office on or before 12:00 hrs. On 08 February 2018 (2074/10/25). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs. On 08 February 2018 (2074/10/25) at the office specified below. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum NRs. 1.75,000.00 (One Lakhs Seventy Five Thousand), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid. Eligible bidder may also submit their tender document through e-bidding.
7. Bidding document shall be submitted with the same name by which the document has been purchased. In case of joint venture document shall be purchased in the name of joint venture. Bidding document shall not be accepted in the name of joint venture, if purchased as single bidder.
8. ESSD shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of bids.
9. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday, it shall be extended to the next working day
10. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
11. Total Estimated cost of above works including VAT is Rs.6S.S7.240.62
