Invitation for Bids for: Construction of Boundary Wall at Sandhikharka Substation

Contract Identification No:BPTSG -073/74 02

1. The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated funds towards the cost of Burtibang-PaudiAmarahi-Tamghas-Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe 132 kV Transmission Line Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for BPTSG-073/74-02 “Construction of Boundary Wall at Sandhikharka Substation.” Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese and Foreign Bidders.

2. NEA invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Boundary Wall at Sandhikharka Substation mider National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 3.55 CroreMinimum. Work experience of similar size and nature: At least 1 similar project with a value of at least NRs. 1.9 Crore.

3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Dociunents at the office of Nepal Electricity Authority. Training Center. 4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Burtibang-PaudiAmarahi-Tamghas-Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe 132 kV Transmission Line Project at NEA Training Center. Kharipati. Bhaktapur by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and a bank voucher of NRs. 5.000 amount (noil-refundable) towards the cost of the bidding dociunents deposited in NEA current account Number:(as specified below).

5. Sealed bids must be submitted to the project office Burtibang Paudi Amrai Tamghas Sandliikliarka Gorushinge 132 kV Transmission Line Project by hand on or before 12:00PMon April 21. 2107. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 02:00 PM on April 21. 2107 at the office of Burtibang-Paudi Amarahi-Tamghas-Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe 132 kV Transmission Line Project at Nepal Electricity Authority. Training Center. Kharipati. Bhaktapur. Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and mast be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of NRs. 6.00.000.00. which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.

7. If the last date of purcliasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security sliall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
