Bids Invitation Notice

For Supply of Professional mapping Drone, Landslide monitoring instruments and

Rainfall monitoring station Date of Publication : 23rd March 2017

Departments of Mines and Geology invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply of professional mapping drone, Landslide monitoring instruments and Rainfall monitoring station under National Competitive Bidding procedures. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders. Bidders can apply for all or any of the packages.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of DMG, Lainchaur. Kathmandu, Nepal.

Bidding documents may be purchased from Department of Mines and Geology, Lainchaur, Kathmandu by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of firm registration certificate, VAT/PAN registration certificate. Tax Clearance of Fiscal Year 072/073 and upon payment of a non-rcfundablc fee of Rs 3000 till office time of 21st April 2017.

Sealed Bids must be delivered to the Department of Mines and Geology Lainchaur, Kathmandu on or before 12:00 noon on 22nd April 2017 and must be accompanied by a bid security in form of Bank’s Guarantee amounting to NRs. 85000.00 for Package A, NRs 25,000.00 each for Package B and NRs. 24000.00 for Package C which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period. The bank guarantee shall be issued by a class commercial bank in Nepal. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security from “A” class commercial bank or the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in the current account No. 11001 Office Code 27-307-08 of DMG at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Thamel Branch, Kathmandu and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid.

The bidders are invited to participate in the Pre-Bid meeting to be held at the office of DMG, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, on 11th April 20I7at 14:00 PM.

Bids shall be opened at 14.00 hours on 22nd April 2017 at Department of Mines and Geology, Lainchaur in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who chose to attend. Bid must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening.

The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.

If the last date of submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.

If any provisions of this document are inconsistent with Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2063 or Public Procurement

Regulations (PPR), 2064, the provisions of this document shall be void to the extent of such inconstancy and the

provisions of PPA and PPR prevail.
