  1. The Master General of Ordnance (MGO) (Provision), Nepalese Army Headquarters invites scaled bids from eligible bidders (Foreign Supplier Companies or their authorized Local Agents) for the procurement of the following items required for the Nepalese Army:

  1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Office of MGO (Provision), Nepalese Army Headquarters, Bhadrakali. Kathmandu, Nepal (Tel. 4-244059) during office hours. This notice can also be found on the Nepalese Army website www.nepalarmv.mil.np and PPMO’S website.
  2. Bidding documents may be purchased from the above office of MGO (Provision), Kathmandu District Administration Office, Babarmahal and the Office of Treasury and Controller, Sundltara, Kathmandu. Eligible Bidders should provide a written application along with the copy of valid company registration certificate and pay a non-refundable fee for the Bid Document.
  3. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the office of Master General of Ordnance (Provision) and registered on or before 1200 hours of 07 May, 2017. Documents received after this deadline will not be acccptcd. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives on 1300 hours of 07 May, 2017 at the office of MGO (Provision).
  4. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security. The bid security shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period (i.e. 08 September, 2017).
  5. In case the last date of submission and opening of the bid falls on a government holiday, the following working day shall be considered the last day and the aforesaid activities shall occur on the same time on the following day. In such a ease the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
  6. All the related documents, terms and conditions and specification shall be included in the bidding document.
  7. All the procurement procedures will be carried out under Public Procurement Act, 2007, Public Procurement Regulation, 2007, Financial Procedure Act, 1999 and Financial Procedure Regulation, 2007. This office reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason whatsoever.

  1. The bidding documents received from the e-bidding portal will be downloaded and opened at the office of the MOO (Provision) on 1300 hours of 07 May, 2017. The representatives of the e-Bidders must be present during the opening of the Bid along writh the original copy of Bid Security, Statement of Declaration, and original/notarized copies of all other uploaded documents.
