  1. The Government of Nepal /GoN/ has allocated funds from /GoN/ towards the cost of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for “Design, Supply, Fabrication, Erection, and Commissioning of Hydro mechanical and Control System Works for Headworks” (Contract No. RJKIP/GATEWHR/NCB-01/073/074). Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
  2. Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project (RJKIP) invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Design, Supply, Fabrication, Erection, and Commissioning of Hydro mechanical and Control System Works for Head works under National Competitive Bidding -Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 176.00 Million.

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature:Design, Supply, Fabrication and Erection of Gate and Control System Works of Irrigation and Hydropower works in at least One (1) contracts within the last Ten (10) years, each with a value of at least NRS 100 Million that have been successfully or are substantially completed.

  1. Bidder has to submit their bid electronically only and download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost(non-refundable fee of NRs. 10,000) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.   1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Department of Irrigation, Room No. 424 Jawalakhel, Lalitpurat 12:00 Noon 2018/02/14.
  2. Bids must be submitted electronically through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np (e Procurement Portal (e-GP II). on or before 12:00 Noon on 2018/02/23. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
  3. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 1:00 PM on 2018/02/23 at the office of Department of Irrigation, Room No. 424 Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a scanned copy of bid security in Pdf format, amounting to a minimum of 12 Million, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
  4. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
