1. Government of Nepal has allocated funds towards the cost of Trail Bridge Sectoral Development Program and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Fabrication and Supplying of Steel Parts of 6 SSTB Bridges in Chitwan District. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders enlisted by DoLIDAR.
2. The District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan invites sealed and electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Fabrication and Supplying of Steel Parts of 6 SSTB Bridges in Chitwan District under National competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement Act and Regulations.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan, Phone no. 056-527820, email: chitwandto@gmail.com or may visit PPMO cgp system bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate,Tax registration certificate. Tax clearance certificate and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of NRs 3000 till 2074/11/25 (09/03/2018) during office hours.

Bidder who chooscs to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document in the following Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan at 13.00 On 2074/11/16 (28/02/2018)
6. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan by hand/ courier or through PPMO’s e-GP system bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12.00 2074/11/27 (11/03/2018). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13.00 on 2074/11/27 (11/03/2018) at the office District Technical Office (DTO) Chitwan. Bids must be valid fora period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of NRs 190000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e.2075/3/25 {9/07/2018})
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
9. The employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
