  1. Gauradaha Municipality has received Funds from the Government of Nepal (GoN) and AEPC towards the cost of supply. Delivery and installation of solar street light and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract. Bidding is open to all eligible and qualified Bidders/Suppliers.
  2. Gauradaha Municipality invites seal bids from registered eligible and qualified supplicrs/Bidders under National Committee Bidding (NCB) for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of solar street light as per the required specifications mentioned.

  1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document in English at the office of Gauradaha Municipality as mentioned above or may visit PPMO website: http://www.bolpatra.gov.np.
  2. Complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased from the office of Gauradaha Municipality during office hours on all working days by eligible bidders 2073/12/22 onwards on the submission of Written Application copies of firm/institution Registration and PAN/VAT Registration certificates,Tax clearance certificate of F/Y 072/073 and upon payment of non-rcfundable fee. The Bid document shall be available for sale up to office hours till 2074/01/20.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding document as mentioned above or may download the bidding document for e-submission from PPMO’s website: http://www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document mentioned above in the Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.

  1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Gauradaha Municipality at 13:00 Mrs. on 2074/01/08.
  2. Scaled bid must be submitted to the office of Gauradaha Municipality by hand or electronic bids must be submitted through PPMO website: http://www.bolpatra.gov.np who choose to submit e-bid on or before 12:00 I Irs on 2074/01/21 .Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted.
  3. Received sealed Bids and electronic Bids shall be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 Mrs on 2074/01/21 at the office of Gauradaha Municipality, Nepal. But nothing shall bar the opening of Tender by the reason only that any bidder or its agent is not present. Bidders’ representative should come with authorization duly signed by the authority of firm at the time of bid opening.
  4. All bids shall be accompanied by a valid bid security issued by “A” class commercial bank of an amount as shown in the table above. The bid security guarantee shall confirm to the standard format as specified in the bid document. The bid security guarantee issued by only the commercial bank approved by Nepal Rastra Bank shall be acceptcd. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the date of bid opening.

  1. If the last date of purchasing and / or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date in such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
  2. Bidders arc advised to visit site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bid. Gauradaha Municipality shall not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with preparation or submission of Bids.
  3. Gauradaha Municipality reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatever.
  4. Bidders Annual Turnover and Experience requirement are:
    1. Average Annual Turnover of the construction work of best 3 years over the last 10 years is: NRs 1,25,00,000.00 (Without VAT)
    2. Minimum work experience of similar nature are:

Installation and commissioning of one project of at least equivalent to numbers of solar street light poles

or

Installation and commissioning of two projects of at least half of the numbers of solar street light poles

  1. Those owners whose firm or company was blacklisted earlier with the provisions of Public Procurement Act, 2007 and if they have commenced New Business in the name of new firm orcompany arc not allowed to participate in the Bid proceedings.
