Government of Nepal, Ministry of Irrigation, Department of Irrigation has received a Credit/Grant from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project for Modernization and Upgrading Works of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigaiton system, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this finance for payments under the below mentioned Contracts.

The Department of Irrigation, Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project on behalf of the Ministry of Irrigation, Government of Nepal, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following Contract Packages as shown below:

1. Bidders may bid one or several contract packages described in table of this notice, evaluation of the bids will be carried out in accordance with the procedure set out under section III- Evaluation & Qualification Criteria, where bidders must meet the aggregate of the qualification requirements to be eligible to obtain more than one contract
2. Interested Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours. .
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by the interested Bidders on the submission of a written Application addressed to The Project Manager, Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project, within office hours up to 16^,h May, 2017 from the address below upon payment of a non-re fundable fee as mentioned in Table.

4. Bidders are advised to sincerely refer to the Qualification Requirements specified in the Bid Document. Qualification requirements for bidders including eligibility, historical contract non – performance, financial situation. Experience, personnel and equipment as specified in the bidding documents.
5. Last date of submission of completed documents is by 12.00 hours (Noon) of the 17^,h May, 2017 at the address mentioned below. The bidder shall seal the bid document for each contract package in a single envelope, addressing to the Project Manager of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project.

6. If the specified date for last date of bid document purchasing and bid submission/opening falls on a Government holiday then the same time on the next working day shall be considered for such events. However, the last date for bid submission and opening shall be the next working day after the last date of bid purchasing, in such case the bid validity and validity of bid security will remain unchanged unless amended by another notice.

Bids received on or before the above mentioned deadline will be opened at 13.00 hours at the address mentioned below on the same day in the presence of the bidders’ representatives.

7. Bids must be valid for 90 days after bid opening .The Bid security shall be valid at least 120 days after bid opening.
8. Pre- Bid meeting will be held from 1:00pm of 10^,h May, 2017 at the Project Office, Tikapur, Kailali. Intrested Bidders are advised to study the bid documents and visit the sites before attending the pre – bid meeting.
9. In case of discrepancy or error in Tender notice, bid document and other document. Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project reserves the right to amend, correct that at any time. Such amendment and correction(s) shall be published in the national daily newspaper and on the notice board of the Project office in Tikapur.
10. The Project reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
11. Any prospective bidder may purchase bidding document and may submit bid singly or in joint venture with other partners.
