• The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated funds or received a loan/credit/grant from GoN towards the cost of Construction of Studio Room of Acoustic Nature and Other Miscellaneous works for Directorate of Livestock Services Training and Extension, Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur which estimated amount without VAT is Nrs. 2,223,269.17 and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for DLSTE-074/075-01. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
• Directorate of Livestock Service and Training Extension invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Studio Room Of Acoustic Nature and Other Miscellaneous works for Directorate of Livestock Services Training and Extension, Hariharbhawan .Lalitpur under National Competitive Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key eligibility criteria should participate in this bidding:-

(a) Firm, organization or company registration certificate, (b) Business registration license, (c) Value added tax registration certificate and permanent accounts registration number (PAN) certificate, (d) Tax clearance certificate of Fiscal Year 2073/74obtained from the Inland Revenue Department or documents showing submission of tax returns for the paned specified by the public entity, (e) Declaration made in writing by the bidder that it is not disqualified for taking part in the procurement proceedings, that it has no conflict of interests in the proposed procurement proceedings and that it has not been punished for an offense relating to the concerned profession or business,

• Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Directorate of Livestock Services Training and Extension, Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur, Tel No. 015522059 or may visit DLSTE website dlstraining.gov.np.
• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office Directorate of Livestock Services Training and Extension by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Nrs3000.00 till 30th day of first notice publication within office hours ie2074.12.20.If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost. However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.

• Pre-bid meeting shall be held in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on 15th day of first publication of this notice in Directorate of Livestock Services Training and Extension. Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur i.e.2074.12.05.
• The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on 31^st day of first publication of this notice at the office of Directorate of Livestock Service and Training Extension. Hariharbhawan. Lalitpur. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid. Amounting to a minimum of 66,000 00. which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid .

8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
