  1. The Master General of Ordnance (MGO) (Provision), Nepalese Army Headquarters invites sealed bids from eligible bidders (Foreign Supplier Companies or their authorized Local Agents) for the procurement of the following items required for the Nepalese Army:

  1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Office of MGO (Provision), Nepalese Army Headquarters, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, Nepal (Tel. 4-244059) during office hours. This notice can also be found on the Nepalese Army website nepalarniy.mil.np and PPMO’S website.
  2. Bidding documents may be purchased from any of the office mentioned below;

The office of the Master General of Ordnance (Provision), Kathmandu.

The office of the District Administration, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

The Office of the Treasury and Controller, Sundhara, Kathmandu.

  1. Eligible Bidders should provide a written application along with the copy of valid company registration certificate and pay a non-refundable fee for the Bid Document.
  2. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the office of Master General of Ordnance (Provision) and registered on or before 12:00 hours of 09 March, 2018. Documents received after this deadline will not be accepted. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives on 13:00 hours of 09 March, 2018 at the office of MGO (Provision).
  3. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security and scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format, amounting to above mention Bid Bond which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
  4. In case the last date of submission and opening of the bid falls on a government holiday, the following working day shall be considered the last day and the aforesaid activities shall occur on the same time on the following day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
  5. All the related documents, terms and conditions and specification shall be included in the bidding document.
  6. All the procurement procedures will be carried out under Public Procurement Act, 2007, Public Procurement Regulation, 2007, Financial Procedure Act, 1999 and Financial Procedure Regulation, 2007. This office reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason whatsoever.
