Invitation for Electronic Bids

  1. The Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated fund toward the cost for the establishment of the Balara Polytechnic Institutes, Balara, Sarlahi and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts and suppose to complete the works as per budget allocated in current IVY of CTEVT/ Provenience 2 Office. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
  2. Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Province Office Province No. 2 invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of following work under National Competitive Bidding-

  1. eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the office of CTEVT Province Office, Province No. 2 Janakpurdham, Phone No. 9854021182 or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
  2. Bidders need to submit their bids electronically by downloading bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e- GP system bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit NRs. 3000.00 (In words: Nepalese Rupees Three Thousands Only) for the bid in the Call Deposit Account No. 152000263901 in Kastriya Banijya Bank. Pidari Branch. Janakpurdham until the 29th Bliadra. 2077, the cost of bidding document as specified above and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.
  3. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at the office of CTEVT Province Office of Porovince No. 2. Janakpurdham 21th Bhadra, 2077 at 14:00 hrs.
  4. Electronic bids having its contract name and identification number must be submitted through PPMO’s e- GP system www. gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 noon on 30th Bhadra, 2077. Bids received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
  5. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours on 30th 2077 at the office of CTEVT Province Office. Province No. 2, Janakpurdham, Dhanusha. There will be no any obstruction to open bidding document if bidder representative are not present.
  6. Electronic bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security amounting mentioned on the above table, which shall be valid for 120 days from the date of last dale of submission of bid ( i.e 30th  2077). If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Call Deposit Account No. 152000263901 at Rastriya Banijya Bank. Pidari Branch, Janakpudham and submit the Bank Voucher of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid.
  7. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day for the event shall be considered as the last day. In Such Case the validity of bid security shall be considered as specified for the original last date of submission of bid.
  8. Bidders are advised to visit site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bid.
  9. Any intimidation, collusion and car telling during bidding process shall be punishable by law.
  10. In the case of any discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or in any other documents the office reserve the right to amend and correction any time.
  11. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
  12. Any additional matters not covered by Invitation Notice and mandatory information shall be in accordance with prevailing Public Procurement Act 21163 (with first amendment 2073) and Public Procurement Regulation 2064 (with latest amendment 2077) of the Government of Nepal.
