• The Government of Nepal (GoN) has received a loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) towards the cost of Emergency School Reconstruction Project (ESRP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of School Buildings under Batch-3 as mentioned below. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
• The Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Education) invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of School buildings (the Works) under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope (1S2E) Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Education), Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, Phone +977 1 4420565 or may

visit PPMO website.

• Bidder shall down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np./egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Projects Rajaswa(revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf for mat) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.

• Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Kducation), Gyancshowr, Kathmandu at 11:00 hours on June 07,2018
• Bids must be submitted through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 hours on June 18, 2018. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
• The technical bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours. June 18, 2018 at the office of Central Level Project Implementation Unit (Education), Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format, amounting to a minimum as mentioned above, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. November 14,2018).
• If the last date of submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
• Under this Procedure after the completion of evaluation of Technical Bid, all the technically substantially responsive bidders will be invited to attend the opening of Price Bid. The time, date and place of opening of Price Bid shall be notified in writing and/or publishing notice.
• The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
• Any conditions so far not covered shall be as per Public Procurement Act-2063 and Public Procurement Regulations-2064 with latest amendment.
