1. Tribhuvan University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of Intranet, Internet and Wireless Network Project for support of education and administration of the university under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese bidders.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Average annual turnover (NRs.): 150,000,000.00(0ne hundred fifty million) only. Similar nature experience ( last five years): One network installation with minimum value of NRs.: 80,000,000.00 (Eighty million) only.

2. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Tribhuvan University, IT Center, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal, Tel: 0097-1-4335403,email: itc@tribhuvan-univenity.edu.np
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of Tribhuvan University, IT Center, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refillable fee of NRs. 10,000.00 ( Ten Thousand) deposited in the Nepal Bank Limited Call account No. 5477 of Tribhuvan University, Central Office, Kirtipur, Katmandu, Nepal within 30 days from the date of first publication on normal office hours.
4. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Tribhuvan University, IT Centre, Kirtipur on 15th day at 14.00 Hrs from the date of first publication.
5. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of Tribhuvan University, IT Center, Kirtipur within 12.00 Hrs. of 31th days from the date of first publication of notice. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14.00 Hrs. on 31th days from the date of first publication at the office of Tribhuvan University, IT Center, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. If the bidders representative does not choose to attend for opening, Tribhuvan University, IT Centre, Kirtipur may open the tender.
7. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security,.amounting to a minimum of NRs.3,000,000.00 (Three million) only which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission of the tender documents falls on a public holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
9. All rules and regulations shall be according to Public Procurement Act, 2063 (Amendment 2073) and Public Procurement Rules, 2064 (Amendment 2073).
10. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all contractor’s tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
