INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION OF INTRANET, INTERNET, WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE NETWORK PROJECT CONTRACT IDENDIFICATION N0.:2074/075/ITC/10

• Tribhuvan University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of Intranet, Internet and Wireless Network Project for support of education and administration of the university for Kathmandu under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese bidders.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

1. General Experience

Under Information Technology Contracts in the role of contractor, subcontractor or management contractor during at least the last Fifteen years (15) prior to the bid submission deadline.

1. Specific Experience

The bidder shall have experience in at least three contracts prior to the bid submission deadline within the last 5 years out of which two government DC/DR projects with a value of NRs 40,000.000.00 (Forty million) only each and a similar nature of project with the value of NRs 80,000,000.00 (Eighty million) only. Work in nongovernmental organization should submit I DS. Shall have ISO 9001:2015 in ICT services. At least experience of successful completion of one project in setting up fiber network ring of around 150km.

1. Average Annual Turnover

Minimum cumulative annual turnover of NRs 300.000.000.00 (Three hundred Million) only calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed within last consecutive 3 (Three) years

• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of Tribhuvan University, IT Center, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand) deposited in the Nepal Bank Limited Call account No. 5477 of Tribhuvan University, Central Office, Kirtipur, Katmandu, Nepal within 30 days from the date of first publication on normal office hours.
• Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Tribhuvan University, IT Centre, Kirtipur on 15th day at 14.00 Mrs from the date of first publication.
• Scaled bidsmust be submitted to the office of Tribhuvan University’, IT Center, Kirtipur with in 12;00 Hrs. of 31th days from the date of first publication of notice. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
• The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14.00 Hrs. on 31th days from the date of first publication at the office of Tribhuvan University’, IT Center, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal . If the bidders representative docs not choose to attend for opening. Tribhuvan University. IT Centre, Kirtipur may open the tender.
• Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security,amounting to a minimum of NRs.3,000,000.00( Three million) only which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
• If the last date of purchasing and /or submission of the tender documents falls on a public holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
• All rules and regulations shall be according to Tribhuvan University Act and Tribhuvan University Rule. Public Procurement Act,2063 (Amendment 2073) and Public Procurement Rules,2064 (Amendment 2073).
• The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all contractor’s tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
