Invitation for Bids

1. The Government of Nepal [GoN], Melamchi Municipality, Melamchi, Sindhupalchok invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of following item under NCB procedures.

2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Melamchi Municipality. Melamchi. Sindhupalchok Phone: 011-401089, Fax: 011-401089, dms.melamchimun@gmail.com

• A complete set of Bidding documents (Hard Copy) in English may be purchased on or before 4:00 PM of 2074/8/24 from office of Melamchi Municipality, Melamchi, Sindhupalchok by eligible bidders on the submission of a written application accompanied by a letter of Authority from the Principal/Manufacturer to the address above, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate,VAT/PAN registration certificate, Tax clearance certificate of FY 2073/074 & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 3,000/-.
• Sealed bids must be delivered to office of Melamchi Municipality, Melamchi,Sindhupalchok on or before 12:00 hours of 2074/8/25. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amount mentioned above deposited in Dharauti Khata No. 16803000000003000004 of Melamchi Municipality Office, Melamchi, Sindhupalchok in the Nepal Bank Limited, Sindhupalchok, Melamchi Branch or accompanied by a Bank Guarantee issued by A Class commercial banks valid 30 days beyond Bid validity.
• Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Office Of Melamchi Municipality, Melamchi, Sindhupalchok, at 14:00 pm 2074/8/14.
• Bids received after the deadline of the submission will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately in the presence of the Bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address above at 13:00 Hours (1 PM) of 2074/8/25.
• If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
• Bidders may withdraw or modify the bid 24 hours before the last date of submission of bid by submitting of sealed application to Office Of Melamchi Municipality, Melamchi, Sindhupalchok .
• The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without any reason, whatsoever:
• Any matter not covered by this notice shall be as per Other mandatory information as per PPA and PPR. (With all amendment) of GON.
• If there arc any changes or correction in notice or on bid document, the notice will be published in Melamchi Municipality notice board.
