  • The Government of Nepal has allocated fluids towards the cost of Kusum Hapure 132 kV Transmission Line Project and intends to apply part of the fluids to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Damaged Boundary Wall. Drain and Landslide Protection Works for Hapure Substation, KHTLP 074 75-01. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese and Foreign Bidders.
  • Sepal Electricity Authority invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Damaged Boundary Wall. Drain and Landslide Protection Works for Hapure Substation under National Competitive Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 51.25 Lakhs (Excluding VAT).

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least 2 contracts each with a value of at least NRs. 43.35 Lakhs (Excluding VAT).

  • A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office Kusnm -Hapure 132 kv Transmission Line Project, Tulsipur-Dang, by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refillable fee of NRs. 3000 till 10th 2074 till office hour.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents for e-submission from NEA’s Web Site http: eproc.nea.org.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost NRs. 3000 of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (.pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.   • Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office of the Project Manager. Kusum-Hapure 132 kV Transmission Line Project. Tulsipur. Dang by hand/courier or through NEA website http://eproc.uea.org.iip on or before 12:00 PM on 11th Fagun  2074. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected
  • The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 2 PM on 11th Falgun, 2074 at the office of the Project Manager. Kusum-Hapure 132 kV Transmission Line Project. Tulsipur. Dang. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in .pdf format in case of e-bid.amounting to a minimum of NRs. 1.40.000 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
  • If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
  • The Estimated amount for the Works is NRs. 5.418.715.27(Excluding VAT).
  • All the rights as to whether to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids or cancel the bidding process without assigning any reason, whatsoever are reserved to this Project Office.
  • Bidders can bid as a single contractor or in the form of a Joint Venture of maximum of three contracting firms.
  • The Employer reserves rights to amend and correct at any time in case of discrepancies or error in Bidding document. Tender notice or any other documents. Such amendments, corrections shall be published on NEA’s website: http://eproc.nea.org.np .
  • Matters not covered by this notice shall be in accordance with public procurement act. 2063 (with latest amendment 2073). public procurement regulations, 2064 (with latest amendment 2073) and other prevailing rules and regulations of Nepal.
