Name of project: Painting and Maintenance works in Kakarbhitta ICD Contract Identification No: NITDB/NW/C-09

• Nepal Inter modal Transport Development Board (NITDB) invites sealed bids submitted manually or electronic bids from registered eligible contractors for Painting Maintenance works in Kakarbhitta ICD. The estimated cost of the work is NRs. 48,84.622.59 (including contingencies and VAT). Bidders may obtain further information about the bid and inspect bidding documents at office of NITDB or may visit e-procurement portal of PPMO (i.e. http://www.bolpatra.gov.np).
• Hard copy of bidding documents may be purchased on or before 17:00 hours on 11 February 2018 from the office of NITDB by eligible bidders on submission of an application with firm’s registration certificate. VAT registration, contractor’s license, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 3,000 in NITDB, A/C No. 1202002/001.007.524 with Nepal Rastra Bank, Banking Office, Thapathali, Kathmandu. Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of bidding documents as mentioned above or may download bidding documents from http://www.bolpatra.gov.np. E-Bidders should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the bank account number mentioned above and the scanned copy (PDF) of the Bank Voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of e-submission.
• A Pre-bid conference will be held at NITDB Gyaneshwor office at 11:00 hours on 02 February 2018. Bidders arc encouraged to attend the meeting.
• Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of NITDB at Gyaneshwor on or before 12:00 hours on 12 February 2018. Alternatively, Bidders may submit their bid electronically through http://www.bolpatra.gov.np within above deadline.
• The Scaled Bids and the c-submitted bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours on 12 February 2018 at the office of NITDB. If the last day of submission and opening falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last day. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security or scanned copy of the bid security (PDF) in case of c-bid, amounting to NRs 1,23,000/- which shall be valid for 120 days after the bid opening.
• If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Current Account 0100200144668037 with Agricultural Development Bank Limited, Ramshahpath, Kathmandu and the receipt of the deposited amount or scanned copy of such receipt (PDF), in case of e-bid, should be submitted along with the bid.

• In case of bid submitted electronically, the bidder’s name, registered during downloading and uploading process shall be identical. It discrepancy in the bidder’s name is found, the bid shall be rejected. Further e-bidders shall submit their Withdrawal. Modification or Substitution if any. only through e-bidding process. E-bidders’ Withdrawal, Modification or Substitution in a form of Hard Copies shall not be accepted.

NITDB (the employer) reserves right to amend / correct the Bidding Document, Tender Notice or any other documents at any time. The employer also reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without any reason, whatsoever.
