Invitation for Sealed Quotations

Date of Re-Notice Publication: 12 January 2018 (First Date of Notice Publication: 24 May 2017)

• On behalf of following Rural Community Based Multi Use Solar Drinking Water projects, AEPC invites sealed quotations (SQ) from registered eligible Suppliers/Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Transmission Pipeline and Electro-Mechanical System of Rural Community Based following Solar Drinking Water Supply Projects as per the required specifications mentioned. Bidding is open to all eligible National Bidders/Suppliers.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Sealed Quotation (SQ) documents in English at the office of AEPC, Khumaltar Height, Lalitpur Nepal during office hours.
• Complete set of Bidding documents (SQ) in English may be purchased by eligible Suppliers/Bidders 12 January 2018 onwards on the submission of a Written Application, copies of Company/Firm Registration and VAT Registration certificates and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 1,000.00 for each task/ package. The Sealed Quotation Documents shall be available for sale up to office hours till 28 January 2018.
• Sealed Quotation for all tasks must be submitted to the above office (AEPC) on or before 12:00 Noon on 29 January 2018. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
• Bids (SQ) must be valid for a period of 45 days,counting from the day of SQ opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting as specified in above table which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period (i.e., Valid up to minimum 13 April 2018).
• If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in AEPC’s Office Code 28-331-01 and Account Name DTCO, Lalitpur. Bank Account No. 16856 KIIA 3 at Nepal Bank Ltd., Gabahal, Lalitpur Branch and need to be submitted the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the sealed Bid.
• Received Sealed Quotations shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at as specified in above table at the office of AEPC Khumaltar Height, Lalitpur, Nepal. But nothing shall bar the opening of Bid (SQ) by the reason only that any bidder or its agent is not present. Bidder’s representative should come with authorization duly signed by the authority of firm at the time of bid (SQ) opening.
• AEPC reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Bids (SQ) without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
• AEPC has cancelled all the sealed quotations received (Contract Identification Number: AEPC/SESC/G/ SQ/2073/74-02, AEPC/SESC/G/SQ/2073/74-03 and AEPC/SESC/G/SQ/2073/74-04) as per notice dated 24 May 2017. Other provisions of the notice shall remain same as per earlier notice dated 24 May 2017 and Sealed Quotations documents for mentioned tasks.
