Nepal Water Supply Corporation (NWSC), Branch Office ,Pokhara invites scaled bids for the construction of River Training Works at downside of truss bridge along Seti River Phase II from eligible registered contractors having qualification as mentioned in the bidding document for the contracts as mentioned below. Eligible bidders may obtain for the information and inspects the bidding documents at the office of NWSC, Pokhara. Tel No: 061-465237, Fax: 061-465091.

A complete set of Bidding documents in English for the work may be purchased up to 2074/01/19 from the following offices by interested bidders on the submission of a written application attaching copies of the bidder’s registration, VAT registration and TAX clearance certificate of FY 2072/2073 and upon payment of non refundable fees as mentioned in the tabic below within the officc hour

Bids must be submitted in Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Branch Office Pokhara on or before 12:00 hours of 32nd day (2074/01/20) from the first date of publication of this notice. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope addressing to Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Branch Officc : Pokhara indicating name of contract Identification number, bidders name and address with contact Tclephonc/fax no. Alternatively, bidders may submit their Bids electronically through e-GP portal of PPMO web site http://www.bolpatra.gov.np. as specified in the instruction to bidder. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.

Bids shall be opened in the presence of bidders representative who choose to attend at 14:00 hours, 2074/01/20 at the office of NWSC Pokhara. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bidding opening and must be accompanied by bid security issued by ‘A’ class bank of amount NRs. 3,75,000.00 which shall be valid at least for 30 days beyond the bid validity period.

If a bidder wishes to submit the bid security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in account no. 01600105200192 at Everest Bank Ltd, Pokhara Office and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount along with the bid.

If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.

Bidders arc advised to visit site and the assess the actual site conditions accessibility, availability and cost of construction materials before submitting their bid.

A Pre-bid meeting will take place on 2074/01/08 at Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Branch Office, Pokhara at 13 :00 hours if that day falls on a Government holiday then the meeting will be held on next working day.

Bidders may bid as a single contractor or in a firm of Joint venture of maximum number of two (2) contract firms. In the ease of joint venture, any one partner shall have to meet the required criteria of specific work experience; the partner In-charge (lead partner) shall have minimum 40 percent of required average annual turnover and the liquid asset and other partners shall have minimum 25 percent of the same.

Subject uncovered under this notice shall be in accordance with Public Procurement Act 2063 and the Public Procurement Regulation 2064.

The unit price furnished in words shall prevail in ease of any discrepancy between figures and words.

In case of discrepancies or error in bidding document, tender notice or any other documents the NWSC reserves the right to amend and correct at any time.

The employer reserves the right to acccpt or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids or cancci the bidding proccss without assigning any reason, whatsoever .
