Invitation for Bids

1. The Putalibazar Municipality has allocated funds towards Road Board Nepal Program for the maintenance of roads mentioned below at Putalibazar Municipality, Syangja and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Maintenance of roads mentioned below under National Competitive Bidding procedures.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1, Syangja, Ph: 063-420409. office web site: putalibazarmun.gov.np or may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np. Work experience Requirement is:
4. a) Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: One Number of Road Project with the value of NRs. 2.5 Million excluding VAT for contract ID No.:. PM/W/NCB/RBN/01/2074/75 and NRs. 1.5 Million excluding VAT for contract ID No.:. PM/W/NCB/RBN/02/2074/75
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Office of Municipal Executive Putalibazar-1, Syangja by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, Tax clearance certificate and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000.00 till 09 May 2018 (26 Baishak, 2075).

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank:

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1. Syangja at 12:00 hrs on 29 April 2018 (16 Baisakh 2075).
6. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1, Syangja by hand/courier or through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np. on or before 12:00 hrs noon on 10 May 2018 (27 Baishakh, 2075). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hrs noon on 10 May 2018 (27 Baishakh. 2075) at the office of Putalibazar Municipality. Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1, Syangja. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid. which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. 120 days from the deadline of bid submission).

If the bidder wishes to submit the bid security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in the account (Dharauti Account) of Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1, Syangja is : Dharauti Acount No .: 07203000000003000009 Ga 3 (Name of Bank : Nepal Bank ltd., Syangja).

8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
9. Other mandatory information will be as per Public Procurement Act and Public Procurement Regulation and their amendments.
10. Any matters, not covered here shall be as per prevailing rules and regulations of Nepal. The Putalibazar Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive, Putalibazar-1, Syangja reserves right to accept or reject wholly or partially or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
