1. Roads Board Nepal invites bids from eligible registered Companies/Contractors/Firms (Partnership, Enterprises, Suppliers registered under the law to Nepal) for the procurement of “Collection of Road User Fee on the basis of Competitive Bidding for period of 2 (Two) Years.

  1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents in the website: bolpatra.gov.np or at the office of Roads Board Nepal, Min Bhawan, Kathmandu, Nepal P.O. Box 11406, Tel: 4493515/529/539 Fax: 4493542, www.roadsboardnepal.org
  2. Bidding document may be purchased from the above mentioned office on or before 17:00 hours of 6th February 2018 by the eligible Bidders on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000/- (In words: Rupees Ten Thousands Only).
  3. Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically through E-bidding, may download the necessary part of bidding document, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids through Website b0lpatra.20v.nD. The bidders arc required to deposit the cost of bidding document in the specified bank’s account as mentioned below and the electronic scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be submitted along with the electronic bid files.
  4. The Bid Validity and Bid Security period shall be 90 and 120 days respectively after the deadline for submission of Bid.
  5. Bids shall be submitted to the above office on or before 12:00 Hrs. of 7lh February 2018 Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
  6. If the bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, it can be deposited at Himalayan Bank Ltd., Pulchowk, Lalitpur, A/C No. 00601251390014 and submit the bank receipt along with the bid.
  7. The pre-bid meeting shall be held on 12:00 Hrs. of 26th January 2018 at office mentioned above.
  8. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
  9. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 Hrs. of 7th February 2018 at the above mentioned office.
  10. The bids shall be considered as Substantially Non Responsive if the quoted amount is below than the estimated amount.
  11. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
  12. Bidders are requested to read the Bid Document carefully and submit their bid accordingly.
