Invitation for Sealed Bid

Date: First Date of Publication of the notice: 2074/01/15

1. Department of Water Supply & Sewerage invites sealed bid from registered Suppliers for the supply and delivery of vehicle.
2. Interested eligible Suppliers may obtain further information and inspect the tender document forms at the Elctromechanical Section Of DWSS.
3. Bidding documents may be purchased by eligible Suppliers on the submission of a written application with a cash payment as mentioned for bid (non-refundable) from Account Section of Department of water supply and sewerage or may purchase from bolpatra.gov.np until 30 th day of first publication date of this notice during office hours. The bidders are required to submit notarised copy firm renewed registration certificate up to 073/74, VAT Registration and Tax Clearance Certificate of F.Y. 2072/ 073.
4. The submission of bids is acceptable within 31st day for all package up to 12.00 hours of fist publication date of this notice and must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned in para 20 below for each packages. Bids received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
5. Bids must be valid for a period mentioned in the para 20.
6. If bidder wishes to submit the Cash Security, the cash should be deposited in Deposit Account No. 1100203 (1100203) and office code no. 27-347-03 at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Thamel and submit the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid document. The bidders wishes to deposite the cost of bidding document may deposite in the name of Department Of Water Supply & Sewerage, in the Rajswa ( Revenue) shirshak No. -14227 & Account No : 1-1-001 in above bank .
7. Bid should be submitted in the name of Department of Water Supply & Sewerage .
8. Bidder should submit the bidding documents in which name, address of bidder and bid package shall be written clearly.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of Suppliers’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 Hrs on 31st day of first publication of this notice at the Account Section of DWSS.
10. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day.
11. The bidder must submit the following documents along with the bid otherwise bid will not be entertained.
12. Manufacturers authorisation letter in the name of purchaser of the equipment to be supplied.
13. Manufacturers quality control certificate including ISO/ISI/NS certificates of all packages.
14. Manufacturers detailed products catalogue of Vehicles to be supplied.
15. Authorised service centre certificate.
16. Unofficial, unsealed, unsigned, lately delivered and improper bids will not be entertained.
17. Bid must be prepared neatly and clearly .The bidding rate must be quoted both in figures and words in bill of quantity sheet provided in bidding document. If the rate in figures and words vary or not clear, the rate mentioned in the words will be considered as the actual bid rate.
18. If licensed proprietor or firm or company unable to appear for the purchase of bidding documents. His/her authorised representatives may purchase the bidding documents upon submission of letter of authorisation and related documents.
19. Conditional bids Shall not be entertained.
20. Other terms and conditions not mentioned above will follow as per prevailing rules of government of Nepal.
21. Priority will be given to national products.
22. The DWSS reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
23. The bidders who bids through e-bidding have to submit original document (hard copy) within three days of bid opening.
