Re-invitation for Bids

1. In connection to Notice no. 02/073/74 published on 2073/12/04 (March 17, 2017), Department of Roads, Bridge Branch.Project Coordination Unit (PCU)Department of Roads re-invites Open Competitive Bidding (Single Stage Double Envelope Technical and Financial sealed bids or electronic bids in the form of Technical and Financial Bids) from eligible bidders for the construction of Bridges in Design and Build named below under National Competitive Bidding procedures.
2. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at Department of Roads, Bridge Branch, Chakupat, Lalitpur or may visit DoR’s website: dor.gov.np
3. A complete set of BiddingDocuments (Technical and Financial) may be purchased on or before 2074/01/29 (May 12. 2017) within office hoursfrom the office Department of Roads, Project Coordination Unit, Bridge Branch, Chakupat, Lalitpur by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents (Technical and financial) as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents fore-submission from DoR*s website: www.dor.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the costof bidding document in theProject’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (*.pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.

7. The Technical Bid and Financial Bid shall be sealed in two separate envelopes and clearly marked as Technical Bid and Financial (Price) Bid and shall be sealed in a single envelope and marked as Bid and must be submitted to the office of Department of Roads, Bridge Branch, Project Coordination Unit, Chakupat, Lalitpur by hand/courier before/2:00 hours on 2074/01/31 (May 14, 2017) or bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically may submit technical and Finincial (Price) Bid through DOR’s E- Procurement portal of website dor.gov.np before the time and date as mentioned above. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
8. The bidswill be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours on 2074/01/31 (May 14, 2017)at Department of Roads,Project Coordination Unit,Bridge Branch, Chakupat, Lalitpur. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e- bid,amounting to a minimum asmentioned below, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid
9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
