1. The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Irrigation, Department of Water Induced Disaster Management (DWIDM), Peoples’ Embankment Program Field Office No.6 Lamahi, Dang, has received a fund from Government of Nepal for construction of works mentioned in below, hereby invites only electronic bids from all eligible Nepalese bidders under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
2. A complete set of Bidding Documents can be downloaded from PPMO’s Web Site bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, should deposit the cost (as specified work packages mentioned below) of bidding document in Raj as wa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf) of the Bank deposit voucher should be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. 3. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at People’s Embankment Program,Field Office no.6 Lamahi,Dang, at 12:00noon on 2074.01.19
4. electronic bids: One technical and other price bid must be submitted through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np/egp. on or before 12.00 noon on 2074.02.04.
5. Technical bids will be opened electronically in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 00 hrs. on 2074.02.04 at the People’s Embankment Program,Field Office no.6 Lamahi,Dang. Bids must be valid for a period of “ mentioned below”, after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting as “mentioned below” from recognized ‘A’ class commercial bank ,or cash deposit in A/C no. Dharauti Khata No- 02702000000003000001 (District Treasury Office) of Nepal Bank Limited, Ghorahi Branch, Dang , which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid. Scanned copy (PDF format) of Bank Deposit Voucher or Bid bond should be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.
6. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
7. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
8. If any Provisions of Bid document are inconsistent with Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2063 and Public Procurement Regulations (PPR), 2064, the provisions of Bid document shall be void to the extent of such inconsistency and the provisions of PPA and PPR prevail.
