| 3. Bidding will be conducted following the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines” Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 and revised in May 2010 and January 2011 and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.
4. Interested Eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Project Coordination Unit (PCU)Bridge Branch (BB), and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours or may visit Public Procurement Monitoring Office website http://bolpatra.gov.np/egp E-procurement section. 5. Bidders are advised to refer to the qualification requirements specified in the bid documents and the qualification requirements are also available at the Public Procurement Monitoring Office website http://boIpatra.gov.np/egp E-procurement section. 6. Bidders have to submit their bids electronically through Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) E-GP-II system. The Bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document (as specified in the table above) in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank: Name of the Bank : Nepal Bank Limited, Gabahal, Office Code no.: 28-337-17, Name of Office : Department of Roads, Bridge Branch, Project Coordination Unit, Account No. : 01801000000000014000, Rajaswa (revenue) Shirshak no.: 14227 7. The Bid shall be submitted before 12:00 hours on 18th March 2018 (2074/12/04) through PPMO EGP-II system of website http://bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. 8. Bids received by the above-mentioned deadline will be opened electronically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours at Department of Roads, Bridge Branch, Project Coordination Unit, Chakupat, Lalitpur on the same day after bid submission deadline. 9. Bids shall be valid for the period as mentioned in the table above after the deadline for Bid submission and Bid security shall be valid up to the period as mentioned in the table above. 10. Bidders shall require to mention the contracts as described in the table above. Bidders will also indicate in their Letter of Bid, together with a statement regarding any discount offered. 11. Pre-bid meeting will be held in the address mentioned below at 12:00 hours on 14th March 2018 (2074/11/30). All interested bidders arc encouraged to attend this pre-bid meeting. 12. The Department of Roads reserves the right to acccpt or reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever. 13. If the specified date for pre-bid meeting, last date of bid purchasing and submission/opening date falls on a Government holiday, then these events shall be shifted to the same time on the next working day. However, the last date for bid submission and opening shall be considered the next working day after the last date of bid purchasing.
