Request for Proposal (RFP)

Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) hereby invited sealed proposal from interested, relevant and authorized organization to conduct the “Earthquake Resistant Building Carpentry skills Training” in the earthquake affected 10 districts. (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, sindhuli, Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga, Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, Dolakha and Kavre) This RFP is open to all registered organizations those have authority to provide the requested service. RFP can be obtained from NRCS procurement management section, Kalimati, Kathmandu against payment of NPR.3000.00 Non-refundable).

1. The Service provider (SP) must enclose: Cover letter clearly summarizing your experience as it pertains to this assignment; recent tax clearance certificate (must notarized) PAN, VAT and firm registration with update certificate (must be notarized) and separate technical and financial sealed proposals.
2. Deadline for tender purchasing – 15th of April 2017
3. Proposal Submission Date: 16th of April, 2017 before 1:00 pm
4. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 15:00 p.m on 16th of April, 2017 at NRCS, NHQs, Kalimati, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of 2.5% of total quoted value.
5. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
6. NRCS reserves the right to accept or reject any sealed proposal.
