Request for Proposals (RFP)                     

 for designing and delivering Awareness Raising /Capacity Building Program for House Owners on Earthquake Risk Resilience and Safe Construction Practices.

Swisscontact, a Zurich-based i

ndependent foundation established in 1959, is a pioneer organization with long working experience across the globe. Swisscontact has been engaged in South Asia since 1962 and in Nepal since 1990.

Swisscontact is currently implementing “Skills for Safe Reconstruction Project” (SSRP). The overall objective of the project is to contribute to future risk reduction of the most affected population by the earthquake (April and May 2015) in select earthquake affected district. Through awareness raising of house owners on disaster risk reduction and skills training for construction workers, the project contributes to a safe reconstruction process.

The project is comprised of two key components: awareness raising of house owners and skills training of construction workers. Together they form a comprehensive approach to address the challenges of a safer reconstruction process in selected district.

Swisscontact invites proposals from interested organizations for designing and delivering Awareness Raising /Capacity Building Program of House Owners on Earthquake Risk Resilience and Safe Construction Practices in select earthquake affected district.
