IFB No: 01/2074-075 (First date of Publication: 2074-8-14 ( 30-11-2017 AD)

The Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated the funds towards the cost of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Bakhular(Ratnanagar)-Jutpani-Saktikhor-Siddhi Road Contract No: MoFALD/EEAP/CHT/W/PDRF/01/2074-75. Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP) invites sealed bids from all eligible registered Nepalese contractors for submission of their bids electronically. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.

The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project District Level Project Implementation Unit,Bharatpur, Chitwanfthe Employer”) invites electronic bids only for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Bakhular(Ratnanagar)-Jutpani-Saktikhor-Siddhi Road under NCB-Single stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure.

Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: [NRs 270.00 Million without VAT]

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: 1 nos. each value of NRs 220.00 Million without VAT

  1. Bidding Document is available online and can be downloaded from PPMO e-GP system bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Interested bidders should register in the e-GP system and deposit the cost of bidding document NRs 20000.00 till 2074-09-14 (29-12-2017 AD) in the following specified bank.

Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project, District Level Project Implementation Unit,Bharatpur, Chitwan at 13.00 hrs on 2074-09-05 (20-12-2017 AD)

Interested bidder should submit online bids through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp only on or before 12.00 hrs on 2074-09-16 (31-12-2017 AD). Bidders are required to follow the electronic bid submission procedure as specified in e-GP system operating guideline 2074 issued by PPMO which are available in e-GP system.

Onlines bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14.00 hrs on 2074-09-16(31-12-2017AD) at the office of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project, District Level Project Implementation Unit, Bharatpur, Chitwan. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid,\amounting to a minimum of 8,539,000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. 2075-02-16(30-05-2018)). The Scan copy of bid security in pdf format should be uploaded in the e-GP system during bid submission.

If the office happens to be closed on the date of opening of the bids as specified, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

The employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
